Frequently Asked
Questions
Q Is this
the Multiple Listing Service that all the realtors use?
A. Yes the MLS system is the same one that your local Realtor
uses.
Q. How
soon will the information and the picture be published?
A. The
information will be published the very next business day, the
picture on our web site will appear in about 2 to 3 business
days.
Q. Will
other Brokers object to this type of listing?
A. The
other Brokers only care that their commission is guaranteed,
this type of listing does not impact other agents trying to sell
the house.
Q. I
thought that if the house is listed on MLS the commission had to
be a certain percentage?
A. That is incorrect, the rate of commission is negotiated
between a seller and their Broker.
Q. How
long do I have to list for?
A. Our listing agreement is for a period of 6 months and our fee
is based on providing you with six months worth of service;
however you may cancel your listing at any time.
Q. What if
I sell the house on my own?
A. You have the right to sell your house on your own, you will
not be obligated to pay any commission, our fee is prepaid in
advance and there are no other charges after that.
Q. Are
there any other companies doing what you are doing?
A. To our knowledge there are no companies that are offering to
list your property on MLS for only $ 300.00 however there are
copycat companies that charge a flat fee as a commission.
Q. What
commission percentage should go in the commission box?
A. Commission is negotiable, generally the selling brokers
commission is 50% of the total commission so a good rule of
thumb is to offer an amount equal to 50% of the commission
generally charged in your area.
Q. What
zone is my house in?
A. The MLS designates zones for every area that it covers, just
leave that box empty and we'll fill out the appropriate box.
Q. I don't
know what the ML# is how can I fill it out?
A. Leave
it blank, the number will be assigned after your listing is
inputted.
Q. Do you
offer any other online services?
A. Yes we do, we offer financing, home improvements and
new construction.
Q. Can any
Broker show my house?
A. Any
broker who is a participant to the local Realtor board. (most
brokers are)
